Crest Legal offers transparent billing options in the form of a fixed fee for a specific project or a retainer fee for business legal services provided by our business solicitors on an on-going basis. Subject to your requirements remaining materially the same, these prices do not increase giving you the confidence to contact our business solicitors for advice, whatever it may be. Having the ability to obtain business legal services at a fixed price should add value to your business, allowing us to become accustomed to your commercial and internal dealings. Our business solicitors aim to be a part of your team.
Unless specifically agreed by you, we never charge hourly rates. Our solicitors do not charge by the letter, telephone call or meeting. We know that you need certainty in terms of your business outgoings in order to forecast accurately and plan for the future. Having concerns about the cost of picking up the phone to your business legal adviser will usually mean that business legal services are not taken which can lead to expensive consequences further down the line.
We will usually agree a fixed fee for a transaction at the outset. The fixed fee will remain just that unless there is a significant change in the type of work involved, timescales or parameters of the transaction. Any increase in the fixed fee is always discussed and agreed with you before being implemented.
The fixed fee structure gives absolute transparency to the cost of our business legal services and enables you to budget a transaction efficiently at the outset.
We offer an 'In-House' style legal retainer service for an agreed number of hours at a fixed monthly fee which rolls over if unused.
Our solicitors will be available on demand to provide legal support as and when needed. Our solicitors will review contracts, attend meetings and conference calls, and become part of your team. The flexibility of this structure should provide you with the ability to plan for a fixed spend on business legal services, spread over a period of time.
Our clients find this model to be particularly effective as it enables and encourages open communication and allows our solicitors to understand what is commercially important to our clients.
